ReplyDeleteThis photograph is marvelous. I love the chipped away white paint that shows the orange/red brick underneath. It resembles a home near my childhood home that I thought was so cool then. thank you for your sweet words on behalf of my brother.
ReplyDeleteThe house has that classic shape of long ago - the brick facade must be the hallmark of a fine home in its day. The awning seems to be from the 20th century - so the eras combine well here. The vines growing upon the home are wonderful, a timeless hint of nature that is beautiful as it grows unattended...
ReplyDeleteI thought I left a comment here earlier....
ReplyDeletebut I wanted to say that I like the awning - you don't see these so much anymore.
This is an amazing photo. I love it! I would even buy it! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photo Rita! Lot's of detail of a scene with a lot of detail in it! Ivy gone wild...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! That looks like something straight out of a fairy tale, I love the way you captured it. Thanks for sharing at WWDD!
ReplyDeleteThat would be gorgeous framed!
ReplyDeleteI love this and agree with Toby -- it looks like there should be a story with it.
ReplyDeleteLovely capture, Rita, with all the leaves
