Spring in Bloom

Yesterday, I shared a winter photo.
Today I will give you a touch of spring.
This is the tree in front of our house.  What an amazing view we currently have looking out our living room window.

Lilly Pads made of Ice

When my husband posted that I would be off for a while due to health problems I expected it to be a few months.  Now it is four and a half years later.  Finally, I am  starting to feel well enough to get out occasionally.  Not sure at this point how many photo shoots I will manage but I will start to post the few shots I do get.  Hope they will not be as long between postings as this one has been.

I captured this one of the Missouri River back in December when returning home from a doctors appointment in the city.  The river  looked as if it was full of  lily pads made of ice floating down the river as far as you could see.

I'm sorry to say to all of Rita's loyal followers she will be away from her blog for awhile.  She has some health issues that will require surgery soon.  I imagine her recovery will keep her from her computer until early next year.

I'm not sure what upset her more; not being able to blog or facing a second year of having the holidays disrupted with health issues.

I want to thank everyone that has e-mailed their concern over her recent absence.
