  3. Bless this shed. I'm sure that it did its duty for many, many years.

  4. Makes you wonder - what was it built for? How long ago? How many different uses did it have? I love old buildings, decrepit or not, and all the wondering that goes along with them. Great picture.

    1. Max, It's a feeder. On the other side you would find a trough for placing hay or sweet feed, depending on the season.

  6. I'm amazed it's still standing! We live smack in the middle of a huge agricultural region, and we're just on the edge of town, so I often find myself cruising the hinterlands on my bike. I often stop and take in the sight of old, teetering barns, and when I do I find myself wondering what their story was. Like Max, I wish I had the answers. I love this shot, and I love the memories it's provoked. Great photography, and I'm so glad you chose this specific pic for this week's theme!

  12. You have me wondering what it looks like from the other side although it may not be safe to be there. A shed that has see better days but which still makes your day seem better. Great!

  13. I love this old shed. Amazon keeps wanting me to buy a book called 'shades of gray', but from what I hear, they're not talking about this lovely old building ;>))))
