My other blog is more about the story that goes with the photo. On this site the photo is the story.
I took this photo several years ago from a distance. Since then have encountered this couple one other time and was able to speak with them. I learned that they have been dressing alike everyday since the mid eighties.
How funny. If any two people in our household come out dressed even remotely alike one goes to change.
Great capture. So nice that you spoke with them.
:) Fun. And fun to discover the sweet stories behind a picture.
Funny. I have twin daughters that always wanted to dress differently. Their first year in collage they came home for Christmas wearing the same men's shirt purchased at Target stores in different cities. We all had a good laugh.
that is cool
This is so cool! A very charming from behind!
They must be very close. Most women I know are uncomfortable when they find they are dressed the same as someone else.
Nuhuh!.....Noway!.....You wouldn't catch me dressing like my husband;)
Hi Rita, good picture taking! :) ~~ Do you remember the Bobsy Twin books series? We read or had read them aloud in our one room school.Jim's Thematic Photographic..
Lovely shot for this theme. I can't imagine anything worse than dressing like my husband!!
Oh, I just love that shot! Great for Carmi's theme! But I have no desire to dress in tatty old sweatshirts and sad trousers!!! ;)
Great shot but I'd get shot if I dressed like that.
Oh my, I'm not sure I'd choose that concept...but I respect their decision!;-)
I once saw a couple with matching t-shirts. Both shirts had printing on them. His said, "She's with me, because I deserve the best!" Her's simply said "I'm with stupid!"
How funny and sweet. Great for the theme. I can't say I'd ever dress like my husband, but if they enjoy it - sweet!
Funny picture, great from-behind. They say that if you're married long enough you start to look alike.
Since the mid-80s! Wow...crazy! I wonder if that gets a little tough in the wardrobe department after a while. They've got to buy two of everything, make sure the right things come up to the top of the laundry pile on the right day, have The Conversation about what to wear every morning. Sounds like an awful lot of work.I envy our dog: Never has to worry about what to put on. Fur, a smile, and he's good to go!
