Trout Stairs


Trout Stairs

Did you know that trout like to climb uphill?
The trout will jump up these steps to get to the stream
that takes them to the river below.

    It's clever, this idea. I'm not sure I've come across trout stairs, only salmon leaps - a similar idea.

    I knew salmon went up stream, but I didn't know trout could climb stairs.

    We've visited several fish ladders (that's what we call them Out West -- same thing though) but I've never ever got such a great picture. Thanks --

    This is So neat... I have heard of fish Swimming up Stream but never up Stairs!!!
