A Sunday drive through Missouri shows more barns, once the pride of every farm, are disappearing at a rather alarming rate victims of that notorious enemy called "demolition by neglect."
I recently was surprised to find someone was actually building a new barn. Not the best photo since it was shot from a moving car, but a delight to know there is one barn that will still be around into the next century.
I hadnot heard the term 'demolition by neglect' but I (sadly) know exactly what it maeans. So much of that going on out in the country here in florida and in Oregon and points between.
