Grapevine, Texas

  1. Lucy, this hotel was the most amazing place. The atrium is 4 1/2 acres and contained a full size model of the front entrance of the Alamo. It also has a smaller version of the San Antonio river walk, as well as an exact copy of the last Treaty Oak in Austin, Texas. The rooms are so expensive we could only afford to pay the $12.00 parking fee to spend a few hours exploring the atrium and shops.

  2. That looks and sounds like quite a place. I'm going to make it a point to check it out next time I'm in the area...(which might not be for quite a while).
