Racing the Rodent


































         Caught this guy running accross the street headed for the stormdrain a few days ago.  
He almost made it before I was able to snap the shot.

    It is hard being faster than a fast lens. Good shot. So, this rodent is not a rat as it has a fury tail, so what is it?

    Taken For Granted, I have never seen one of these before and have no idea what it is. Hubby thinks it is a Marmot and it does resemble the photo when I googled it. Our neighbor thought it was a field or crib rat.
