MacArthur Bridge and the Eads Bridge with the Gateway Arch in the background
I am linking this post to Sunday Bridges hosted by Louis at San Francisco Bay Daily Photo. To view the other entries this week click here.
My other blog is more about the story that goes with the photo. On this site the photo is the story.
Thank you for stopping by my site. Without your visits there would be no incentive to continue posting. So, having you here and reading your comments is the highlight of my day.
I regret that time does not always allow me to return visits to everyone who stops by, but, I will certainly do my best to get to everyone. I will definitely answer any questions you leave me.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
Nicely composed to get the best view of all three landmarks!
ReplyDeleteCool picture Rita;)
ReplyDeleteThat arch does soar doesn't it! I like all the geometric patterns here.
ReplyDeleteI like how you've captured so much at this angle!
ReplyDeleteRita you were in exactly the right spot to take this shot. It looks great!
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for the lovely comments and nice feedback.
ReplyDeleteChuck, Your right, about being in the best spot to take this shot. We took some out of town guest to see the sites and we were on a tour boat on the river looking up at the bridges. There are ten bridges crossing the Mississippi in the St. Louis area and I had several other pics that included three of the bridges in one shot but I like the way the arch seemed to complete this one.
Nice composition. I've driven through St. Louis but didn't stop - I do remember seeing the arch from the highway.
