Dried Grass

Don't know why but this is one of my favorite photos.
This tall grass, has so many stages during the seasons.  I especially like
when it is dried in winter an peeking over the patio fence covered in frost.

Flying High

It's an overcast and windy Easter here in Missouri's heartland.
Looks like the Easter bunny left kites for the big boys next door.

Just so Sad

Just so sad to find old barns being left to decay.  Even sadder is the fact that I can not remember where I snapped this photo.

Good Knight

Captured this Knight standing gaurd in my cousins back yard.
It was his way of honoring his mother.  The statue represents her maiden name.

Blooming Drive

This house sits on a major road a few miles outside of my town.
Reminds me of some of the antibellum homes I've seen in the south.

Biking the Katy

Spotted this electric bicycle parked outside our favorite diner.
The Katy Trail is a few miles accross the river.
We spoke to the driver who told us he was riding the entire trail.
The Katy Trail State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of Missouri that contains the Katy Trail, a recreational rail trail that runs 240 miles in the right-o-way of the former Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad which crosses the state from St.Louis to Kansas City.
